Warren Charles Kirsch, 92, of Grand Rapids, MN passed away Friday, July 6, 2018 at Diamond Willow Assisted Living. He was born August 5, 1925 in McGregor, MN to John "Emerson" and Alice (Galer) Kirsch. He graduated from McGregor High School. Warren is a U.S. Army Veteran having served in WWII where he was a tank driver. He married Elsie Bobich on July 21, 1955. He worked for the DNR and was the Regional Manager and Fisheries Director for 35 years. He was a member of Community Presbyterian Church since 1960 and was a Mason. Warren was a gifted athlete, an avid golfer and fisherman. He was preceded in death by his wife, Elsie (Bobich) Kirsch in 2001and his parents. Warren is survived by his son, Ronald (Sharon Sugden) Kirsch of Portland, OR, and one grandson, Matthew Sugden Kirsch. Memorial Service: 11:00 a.m. Thursday, July 12, 2018 at Community Presbyterian Church with a gathering of friends one hour prior to the Service. Pastor Kimbrel Johnson officiating.
