Tonnette Lorraine Gregerson, 59, died Saturday, August 22, 2009 after a long battle with ovarian cancer. Toni was born to Tony and Dorothy Kulisek at Deer River, MN. She graduated from Deer River High School in 1968 and from Bemidji State University in 1972 with a degree in elementary education. She taught at King Elementary School in Deer River from 1977 until her retirement in 2007. She received a Masters Degree in Elementary Education in 1983. On April 24, 1971 she married Allen Gregerson and resided in the Grand Rapids area for the rest of her life. Toni enjoyed spending time with her family, working in her flowerbed and her woodshop, reading, baking, going on motorcycle trips with Al, and planning for the arrival of their first grandchild. She was preceded in death by her father, Tony; brother, Rex; and her favorite cat, Mo. Survivors include her husband, Al; son, Clint (Kathy) of Grand Rapids; daughter, Lana (Nathan) Voynich of Lake Nebagamon, WI; mother, Dorothy Kulisek, of Deer River; sisters, Sue (Terry) Stoltzman and Ann (Tom) Erickson, both of Deer River; sisters-in-law, Danielle Larson of Minneapolis and Terri (Jim) Sternal of Bigfork; brothers-in-law, Lee Gregerson of Minneapolis, Ken (Mary) Gregerson of Grand Rapids, and Don (Angie) Gregerson of Bigfork; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. She is also survived by Squirt, the family cat, four grand-puppies, and four grand-kitties.
