Timothy Martin Broberg, 66, of Wabana, MN, passed away Wednesday, July 9, 2014 in his home surrounded by his family. He was born April 3, 1948 in Grand Rapids, MN to Branson and Eleanor (Lindsey) Broberg. He graduated from Grand Rapids High School in 1956. Tim served in the United States Army in Vietnam where he flew bird dogs for the 203rd Recon Airplane Company known as the Hawkeyes. He worked for Potlatch as a maintenance supervisor until his retirement. Tim was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was an accomplished snowmobile racer and mechanic. He was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Sally Kightlinger. Tim is survived by his wife, Lynne Broberg; his children, Christine (Randy) Nugent of Lino Lakes, MN; Robert (Holly) Bellefy of Kansas City, MO, Adrian Broberg of Soldotna, AK, William Bellefy of Minneapolis, MN, Clint Broberg of Marcell, MN; brothers, Scott (Kathy) Broberg of Wabana, MN, Bill (Vickie) Broberg of Coleraine, MN; grandchildren, Kara, Kendra, Hannah, Brenden, Shelley, Faith, Nicholas, Samuel; great-grandchildren, Zander and Zaylen; and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Memorial Service: 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 16, 2014 at Andrews-Libbey Funeral Home & Cremation Services with a gathering of friends one hour prior to the Service.
