Tami Amundson, age 57, of Excelsior, MN passed away peacefully Wednesday, December 15, 2021, at her home surrounded by family.
Tami was born in 1964 in Superior, WI to Barten and Phyllis Hoard. She attended Grand Rapids High School. Tami married Philip, June 20, 1987, and they lived in St. Cloud until there move to Excelsior in July of 2019.
Tami loved her family. She had husband Phil raised six active children. Together they traveled the country and went on many life adventures. She worked for the St. Cloud school district for several years as a teacher"s assistant., working with special needs students. Tami loved her job because she wanted to help bring love and encouragement to their lives. Tami Jean lived a life of honor and dedication to her family and friends. She will be greatly missed, but her family will continue to share her life legacy, through her motto, "it is well with my soul."
Tami is preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband of 34 years, Phil; her children, Leah, Hannah, Douglas, Bryant, Philip, and Drew; sisters Michelle Kessler and Kathleen; brothers, Roger, Mark, Rick, Jeff, and Steven Hoard.
Visitation will be Monday, December 20, 2021, at 11:00 AM at The Waters Church in Sartell, MN, followed by the 1:00 PM funeral service. A graveside service will be held Tuesday, December 21, 2021, 2:00 PM at Wildwood Cemetery in Cohasset with reception to follow at Community Bible Chapel in Cohasset, MN.
