Shirley M. Stoffel, age 72, of Cohasset, MN passed away Wednesday, June 2, 2021, in the Lodge at Grand Village in Grand Rapids, MN.

Shirley May Christensen was born in 1948 to Hans and Thelma Christensen in Little Fork, MN. She grew up in St. Paul, MN and was a 1966 graduate of Harding High School. After graduating, Shirley was united in marriage to Nicholas Stoffel and the couple was blessed with one son. In addition to her work at 3M and Target, Shirley was a dedicated homemaker and took pride in caring for her family. In her spare time, she enjoyed reading, gardening, fishing, traveling, and making trips to the casino. The thing Shirley cherished most in life was time spent with her family. Shirley will be dearly missed by those who had the privilege of knowing her.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Sharon Christensen and Lois Kirschbaum; and brother, Fred Christensen.

Shirley is survived by her husband, Nicholas Stoffel; son, Joe (Gayle) Stoffel; brothers, Jerry (Teri) Christensen and Glen Christensen; sister-in-law, Patricia Christensen; and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Mass of Christian Burial will take place Monday, June 14, 2021, at 11:00 AM at St. Augustine"s Catholic Church in Cohasset, MN. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until the start of the service.
