Sharon Feldt, age 79, of Grand Rapids, MN, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 8, 2024, surrounded by family at Garden Court Chateau.

Sharon was born in 1944 to Richard and Stella Stenstrom in Grand Rapids, MN. She grew up in the Grand Rapids area, attended local schools, graduating from Grand Rapids High School. After high school, she enlisted into the U.S. Army where she served for one year. Upon her discharge, Sharon returned to Grand Rapids, married, became a housewife and stay at home mom to her two children, Sheri and Brad.

When her children were old enough, she worked various jobs, but her favorite was making the biscuits at Hardee's. She took pride in getting up each day at 5:30 and making them. In her later years, Sharon received a bachelor's degree in business accounting from AIU.

Sharon enjoyed sewing clothes, baking, knitting, and crocheting. She loved life, the outdoors, took in strays, from animals to people, and was everyone's mom. Sharon was a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge #50 and American Legion Post 459 both of Grand Rapids.

She is preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Harold, Hank, Herb, Larry; and great niece Rachel. Sharon is survived by her children; Sheri Lowe, Julie, and Brad (Linda) Feldt; life partner of 48 years, Steve Wittman; grandchildren, Richard (Crystal), Ariann (Deus), Eddie (Steph), and Nicholas; great grandchildren, Claire, Laila, Ava, Lily, Charles, Chronos, and Thanatos.

A celebration of Sharon's life will be held at Gunn Park Pavilion on Sunday, June 9, 2024 from 8:00 AM until 2:00 PM with a time of sharing from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM and including  Military Honors at 11:30 AM Please bring a lawn chair as seating is limited.
