Samuel Walter DeOtis, age 27 of Bigfork, Minnesota passed away in an automobile accident on Monday, Dec. 31, 2012. Sam's entire life was lived in the Bigfork community. He attended Bigfork School and participated in and enjoyed a variety of sports. He graduated in 2004. Sam studied Computer Technology/Video Design and Development at Brown College. He attended CNA training at Bigfork Valley Hospital and was at the top of his class. Sam was currently employed by Minnesota Diversified Industries of Grand Rapids. He was well-liked there. Sam enjoyed being outdoors; camping, fishing and hunting. He had a genuine love for animals which was evident in his many pets. Sam had many friends in the community. Nora Emery and Sam planned to be married in the near future. Sam is survived by his loving family and many caring friends.
