Sally Jo (Stewart) Shelley, 73, of Remer, MN, passed away Thursday, June 6, 2019 in her home surrounded by family. She was born May 9, 1946 in Hampton, Iowa to Richard and Mary Jane (Petersen) Stewart. She graduated from Hampton High School in Hampton, IA. Sally attended the Mason City School of Cosmetology. Sally married Erland Shelley on May 15, 1971 in Hampton, IA. She worked as a Beautician for 10 years and as a Secretary and Cheerleading Advisor for 18 years at Northview Jr. High. Sally then completed her career as a District Secretary for 18 years at Northland High School.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Sally is survived by her husband of 48 years, Erland Shelley of Remer, MN; son, Erick (Marni) Shelley of Rochester, MN; step-children, Mark Shelley of Roseville, MN, Jaime (Tim) Bona, Jandalyn Schmitz, Sarah Welk, Tyler (Courtney) Datzman, Robert (Nichole) Datzman; sister, Sue (Jim) Bieber of Waukon, IA; grandchildren, Thorin Shelley of Rochester, MN, Garrett Shelley of Idaho, Kayla Shelley of St. Cloud, MN; and many other relatives and friends.

Memorial Service: 2:00 p.m. Saturday, June 29, 2019 at Bethany Lutheran Church, 18 Cedar St NW, Remer, MN 56672, with a gathering of friends one hour prior to the service.
