Ruth T. Anderson, 92, of Jacobson, Minnesota went home to her Lord on Saturday January 19, 2013. She was born January 28, 1920 in Duluth, Minnesota, graduated from Duluth Central High School in 1938 and Duluth State Teachers College in 1941. At various times she taught at Ball Bluff School, Cornish School, Bellhorn Bay School, and Jacobson School. Ruth moved around with her husband, David, to his construction jobs until settling in Jacobson in 1957. Ruth loved her God and grandchildren. Through the years she stayed busy as a homemaker: gardening, cooking, quilting and sewing for family and others. She made quilts for missions, hospitals, and Baby Steps. She was a 4H leader and taught Sunday school, bible school, and released time classes. She was preceded in death by husband David; two sons, Jan and Tim; a granddaughter; a great-grandson; and three brothers. She is survived by two children, Ramona (Marshall) Cronk of Jacobson and Jeff (Barbara) Anderson of Garrison, Minnesota; 12 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
