Ruby Jean (Parks) Holm, 88, of Grand Rapids, MN, passed away Saturday, October 29, 2016 at Grand Itasca Hospital & Clinic. She was born November 8, 1927 in Henning, MN to Glen and Florence (Burrows) Parks. She graduated from Grand Rapids High School in 1945. Ruby married Henry Holm on March 30, 1946 in Hibbing, MN. She was a member of First Evangelical Lutheran Church. Ruby enjoyed sewing, needlework, flowers and cooking. She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Holm; parents; and brothers, Charles, Burton and Donald Parks. Ruby is survived by her children, Gary (Dolly) Holm of Swan River, MN, Keith (Sandi) Holm of Rice Lake, WI, Brian Holm of Wasilla, AK, David Holm of Chanhassen, MN; seven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and 1 gr-great-grandchild; and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
