Robert John Mueller, 65, of Grand Rapids, went to be with his Savior on December 26, 2012 after a 5-year battle with prostate cancer. Rob was born Aug 10, 1947 in Hinsdale, IL. He attended Concordia Teacher's College in River Forest, IL where he met Dineen Neuman. They were married in 1969. He taught and coached basketball in Lutheran Schools in Jacob, IL and Cape Girardeau, MO for 22 years. In 1991, the Mueller family moved to Glenwood, MN after purchasing Green Valley Resort. After 20 years, they retired to Grand Rapids. Rob enjoyed pontooning, canoeing and traveling. Rob is preceded in death by his father, Luther Mueller and mother, Clara Mueller. He is survived by his wife, Dineen, daughter, Heidi (Guy) Clairmont of Grand Rapids, son, Karl Mueller of Apple Valley, two grandchildren, Kate and Jack Clairmont, and brothers, Richard and Raymond Mueller of New Jersey.
