Richard M. Lieske, age 77, of Hibbing, Minnesota passed away Saturday March 12, 2011 in Bigfork, Minnesota. Richard was born in Pequot Lakes, Minnesota and had twelve brothers and sisters. He served his country as a Sergeant in the Marine Corps during the Korean War. He married his loving wife, Aurelia, and raised his family in Minneapolis. He and Aurelia retired to Taconite in 1998. After Aurelia's death in 2000 he moved to Hibbing. Richard was a loving father who loved the outdoors and gardening. He is survived by five children, Vickie Bruce, Diane Heinecke, Richard Lieske, Jr., Brian Lieske, and Kimberly Remmen; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Visitation is from 10:00 until the 11:00 a.m. Funeral Service on Tuesday March 15 in the Libbey Funeral Home. Burial: 1:00 Wednesday, Ft. Snelling National Cemetery, Minneapolis.
