Richard "Dick" Nicholas Karpan, 81, of Sartell, MN, passed away Friday, March 20, 2015 in Grand Itasca Hospital, Grand Rapids, MN. He was born September 5, 1933 in Buhl, MN to Nicholas and Marjorie (Belay) Karpan. He graduated from the University of Minnesota-Duluth with a business degree. Dick retired from Frigidaire Company after 37 years of service. He volunteered at St. Cloud Hospital for 14 years; was a member and Secretary/Treasurer of the St. Stephen Sportsman Club; a fan of St. Cloud State Hockey and was passionate for duck and goose hunting. Dick enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Madonna Hill. Dick is survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
