Reta Ina (Isbister) King, 84, of Grand Rapids, MN passed away Sunday, March 26, 2017 at her home. She was born January 3, 1933 to Joseph and Bella (Carrier) Isbister in Kinistino, Sask. Canada. She attended school in Kinistino, Canada and moved to Minnesota where she met and married Robert King on August 22, 1953. She worked at Piggly Wiggly and at the Kirby Company. Reta enjoyed painting, figure skating and crafts. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert King; parents; daughter, Nancy Taylor and an infant brother. Reta is survived by her daughters, Terri (Tom Hintz) Maki of Grand Rapids, MN, Peg Woods of Coleraine, MN, Carol (David) Clairmont of Grand Rapids, MN, Ann (Pat Shannon) King of Duluth, MN; brothers, David (Nancy) Isbister of Saskatoon, Canada, Bernie (Dorothy) Isbister of Rocky Mountain House, Canada; sisters, Theresa (Jack) Boehm of Kinistino, Canada, Jean (Edward) Groat of Melfort, Canada; 11 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
