Pierrette Jacqueline "Jackie" Snow passed away Sunday, February 5th, 2017 at Grand Village Nursing Home. She was born to Georges and Helene Juin on November 1, 1925 in Paris, France. Jackie lived in Paris until she met Richard Snow, a U.S. Soldier in 1944. They fell in love and were united in marriage on March 24, 1945 in Paris. When WWII was over, they moved to Grand Rapids, MN in 1946. Jackie retired from JC Penney's in November of 1987. She was active in her church, Community Presbyterian Church. She served as Deacon (visiting shut-ins) and sang in the choir for over 25 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard on April 3, 1999; parents, Georges and Helene Juin; and her sister, Leone Moucheboeuf and niece Jocelyne Moucheboeuf Jackie is survived by her son, Glenn (Lori) Snow of Anderson, MO; daughters, Lorraine (Larry) Curtiss of Grand Rapids, MN, Michele (Kee) Curlee, of Helena, MT, Christine Flannigan of Grand Rapids, MN; a special nephew, Daniel Moucheboeuf, living in France and a very special friend, Pernille Ottoson of Seattle, WA. Jackie is leaving 6 grandchildren, Ken Fear, Danielle Perron, Jeremy Lougee, Patrick Lougee, Shawn Snow and Jeffrey Flannigan; 12 great-grandchildren and 2 gr-great-grandchildren; and her community Presbyterian Church family. A Celebration of Jackie's Life will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, February 18th, 2017 at the Community Presbyterian Church, 703 N Pokegama Ave, Grand Rapids, MN 55744. Friends and family are invited to this memorial service. A light lunch following the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Itasca Hospice or to the Community Presbyterian Church Musical Fund. See online family guestbook at www.andrews-libbeyfh.com.
