Patricia Ann Sawert, age 79, of Grand Rapids, Minnesota, passed away Wednesday, July 24, 2013 at Grand Itasca Clinic and Hospital. Patricia was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota to Carl and Anna Palmquist. She married Forest Sawert and moved to Grand Rapids in 1961. Pat worked for Northwestern Bell Telephone Company from 1951 to 1981. She was a past member of Grand Rapids Business and Professional Women. Pat was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and a sister, Betty Allen. Surviving family includes one sister, Ellen (Richard) Paulsen; four brothers, Carl Palmquist, Charles Palmquist, Gary (Carol) Palmquist, and Barry (Kathy) Palmquist; and numerous nieces and nephews.
