Patricia J. Howg, 74, of Deer River, Minnesota passed away Thursday September 16, 2010 in St. Mary's Medical Center in Duluth after a short illness. Pat was born in a boxcar in Zemple, Minnesota to Albert and Audrey Folsom. She loved visiting with family and friends while drinking coffee, Goodwill shopping, rummage sales, baseball, Country music, fried green tomatoes, and anything her grandkids were involved in. She was a member of the VFW Auxiliary. Patricia was preceded in death by her parents; stepfather, Burt Pasco; an infant son, Brian, and a sister, Charlotte. Surviving family includes Dale, her husband of 55 years; children, Allen (Tracey), Deer River, Kelley (DeWayne) Reed, Deer River, Tim (Deb), Grand Rapids, and Shelley (Chris) Kebart, Deer River; fourteen grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a brother, Audley (Jeanne) Folsom of Alaska and Texas. She is also survived by lifelong friends, Judy Gardner, Bud and Barb Serfling, and Cliff and Edna Hanson.
