Olivemae (Black) Gebhart , 90, of Grand Rapids, MN passed away Saturday, March 7th, 2015 in Essentia Health-St Mary's Medical Center. She was born February 12, 1925 in Grand Rapids, MN to Elias and Violet (Lighthizer) Black. Olivemae graduated from Greenway High School in 1943. She married Robert Gebhart on September 8, 1946 in Riverside, CA. Olivemae is a US Army Veteran having served in WWII. She was a member of the Evangelical Free Church and the Christian Women's Club. Olivemae enjoyed reading and was a "prayer warrior". She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Gebhart; parents; granddaughter, Candace Gebhart; brother, Bill Black; and sister, Audrey Porter. Olivemae is survived by her children, Arlene (Glenn) Hyde of Rogers, MN, Rebecca Ahlstrand of Cloquet, MN, Sam (Kathy) Gebhart of Grand Rapids, MN, Patricia (Tom) Harrison of Saratoga Springs, NY , Ruth (Owen) Clarke of Buffalo, MN, Rachel Gebhart of Duluth, MN, Kristina (Brett) Crowe of Maple Grove, MN; brother, Donald Black of Grand Rapids, MN; sister, Betty Knight of Cardiff By The Sea, CA; 17 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Visitation: 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday, March 9th, 2015 at Andrews-Libbey Funeral Home & Cremation Services.
