Norma Jean Bilyeu, 85, of Grand Rapids, MN, passed away Friday, April 7, 2017 at Grand Itasca Clinic and Hospital. She was born May 29, 1931 in Grand Rapids, MN to Guy and Nina (Hoving) Bilyeu. She attended schools in Cohasset and graduated from Grand Rapids High School as Salutatorian of her class in 1949. She enjoyed working for Dr. Earl W. Doelle for 7 years followed by 37 years in the accounting dept. of Blandin Paper Co. until her retirement in 1993. She worked with Pike for Vets in its early years and was secretary of the United Way when it first started in Grand Rapids. She was a long-time member of the local Business and Professional Women's Club and was a member of the Jephthah Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star. Norma served on the Guardian Council of Job's Daughters. She attended and was a lifelong member of Community Presbyterian Church and volunteered as a counter, Deacon, Trustee, Chimes newsletter coordinator and as a member of several committees. She especially enjoyed the Wednesday morning Bible Study. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Francis Bilyeu and his wife, Margie; sister, Ruthie Jondreau and her husband, Frenchie Jondreau and their baby son, Terry. Norma is survived by her nieces, Jeanne Jondreau and Julie Jondreau of Grand Rapids, MN, Sharon Bilyeu and Linda (Ron Maki) Dobak of Missoula, MT, Carole Spooner-Ball of Lewiston, ID; nephew, Robert (Suzy) Bilyeu of Stevensville, MT; several great-nieces; great-nephews; several gr-great-nieces, gr-great nephews; and friends, Greg (Rosie) Johnson of Swatara, MN. Visitation: 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 11th, 2017 at Andrews-Libbey Funeral Home & Cremation Services. Funeral Service is 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 12th, 2017 with a visitation one hour prior to the service at Community Presbyterian Church, 703 N Pokegama Ave, Grand Rapids, MN 55744. Rev.
