Mildred Elaine Titus, age 96, of Grand Rapids, MN. Mildred Elaine Titus, 96, of Grand Rapids passed away peacefully on Monday, Sept. 7, 2009. Mildred was born on March 10, 1913 to Garrett & Emma Baker in Bayfield, WI, and the family moved to Grand Rapids when she was a child. She graduated from Grand Rapids High School in 1931, and was married to Harold Titus on July 9, 1934. They made their home in Grand Rapids, where she happily kept her home and raised her children. Her favorite activities included playing bridge, camping and traveling with Harold, following the MN Twins, and enjoying her family. She had an outstanding sense of humor. She was preceded in death by her parents, her sisters Jeanette Randall and Maxine Brown, and her husband Harold in 2007. She is survived by her two sons, Gary (Dianne) Titus of Andover and Brian (Margi) Titus of Grand Rapids. Her grandchildren include Mark (Beth) Titus of Otsego, Andrea (John) Drontle of Monticello, Kevin Titus of Rogers, and Bradley Titus of Minneapolis. She is also survived by her great granddaughter, Kylie McClymonds of Monticello. Visitation: 5-7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 10 in the Libbey Funeral Home.
