Michael D. Schrupp, 54, died unexpectedly at his Superior, Wisconsin home on Monday, September 26, 2011. Visitation: 10 until the 11am service on Friday September 30, 2011 in the Libbey Funeral Home. Michael was born in Grand Rapids, Minn. to Alyce and Clayton "Rusty" Schrupp. He graduated from Grand Rapids High School in 1975 and received a diploma in welding from Itasca Community College. Mike worked for Gildemeister Motors in Grand Rapids, RJ Sport and Cycle in Duluth (22 years) and then for Color and Chrome Cycle & Motor Spa in Superior. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. Michael was preceded in death by a brother, Alan in 2008. Surviving family includes his two daughters, Erinn Schrupp and Abigail Schrupp, both of Duluth; parents; a sister, Carolyn (Alan) Edwards of Grand Rapids; and a brother, Brian (Sandra) Schrupp of Ecuador.
