Michael Scott Gothberg, 43, of Grand Rapids, MN passed away Thursday, August 17, 2017 at Grand Itasca Clinic & Hospital. He was born August 21, 1973 in Grand Forks, ND to Charles Gothberg and Jeanette Mason. Michael worked as a Lube Tech at Walmart in Bemidji, MN. He married Rosa Rodriguez in 1995. He enjoyed fishing, racing and spending time with his grandsons. Michael was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. He was preceded in death by his parents. Michael is survived by his wife, Rosa Gothberg of Grand Rapids, MN; son, Robert Rodriguez of Grand Forks, ND; daughter, Tanya (John) Gothberg of Warba, MN; brothers, Lynn Gothberg of Grand Forks, ND, Larry Dunlap of East Grand Forks, ND; sisters, Terri (John) Robles of Grand Forks, ND, Robbie (LeRoy) Delp of Voss, ND, LaVerne (Wayne) Dunlap of East Grand Forks, ND, Sharon (Pedro) Lundstrom of Crookston, MN, Sara Lundstrom of East Grand Forks, ND; 3 grandchildren, Michael, Abel and Elijah Bjergaard; and many brother-in-law's, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
