Marianne Lucille Lipscy, 106, of Spang Township, MN passed away Thursday, July 17, 2025, at Oak Hill Assisted Living, Grand Rapids, MN.

Marianne was born in 1919 to Charles and Edith Olson on the family farm in Spang Township. Marianne attended the Greenfield one-room schoolhouse and graduated from Hill City High School. After graduation, Marianne left Minnesota during WWII for Milwaukee to work in defense plants. She returned to Spang where she married Earl Lipscy in 1944.

Marianne enjoyed traveling.  She visited many states plus Canada, Mexico, Italy, Germany, Switzerland, and Japan.

Marianne is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Earl; five brothers; and one sister. She is survived by her daughters, Leanne Keim, Linda Lipscy; sons, Ben Lipscy, Gordon Lipscy; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

The family would like to thank the wonderful staff at Oak Hill Assisted Living and St. Croix Hospice.

Visitation will be Saturday, August 2, 2025, at 1:00 PM at Libbey Funeral Home, Grand Rapids, MN followed by the 2:00 PM memorial service. Immediately following the memorial service, a time for refreshments and fellowship will be held at the Spang Hall.
