Lynn E. (DiShon) Johnson, 64, a lifelong resident of Grand Rapids, MN, passed away January 10, 2015 surrounded by her family. She was born December 6, 1950 in Grand Rapids, MN to George and Virginia (Muck) DiShon. Lynn graduated from Grand Rapids High School and completed her EMT training with Meds-1. She worked for Gordy's Super Valu for 25 years and as an EMT for Meds-1. Lynn was a member of the Itasca County Sherriff's Search & Rescue & Dive Team. She enjoyed scuba diving in various countries. Her passion was motorcycling and enjoyed volunteering for organizations in the Grand Rapids area. Lynn was an amazing mother and grandmother and her family was most important to her. She was preceded in death by her parents. Lynn is survived by her husband, Arlo Johnson of Grand Rapids, MN; son, Jason (Mari) Bemis of Lacey, WA; daughter, Billie Jo (Eben) Davids of Eau Claire, WI; brother, Grayle (Bonnie) DiShon of Blaine, MN; sisters, Georgia (Larry) Willadson of Foley, AL, JoAnn (Angus) MacLeod of Grand Rapids, MN; 2 grandchildren, Jessica and Jaiden Davids; and 1 great-grandchild, Scarlett Bollinger; step-daughters, Linda Ross and Lori Johnson both of Grand Rapids, MN, Becky Olderback of Minneapolis, MN; step-sons, Douglas (Margaret) Johnson of White Bear Lake, MN, Doran Johnson of Grand Rapids, MN; 9 step-grandchildren; 14 step-great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, relatives, friends and her beloved dog, Budy.
