Lyle Gilmore Bunes, 75, of Grand Rapids, MN died on Thursday, November 15, 2012 at Manor House in Grand Rapids. Lyle was born in 1937 in Steele, North Dakota to Otto and Gladys Bunes. Lyle grew up in Grand Rapids. He worked with his father logging and later at Hardees and ODC. He married Dorothy Marsden on June 17, 1989. Lyle was a member of the First Lutheran Church in Grand Rapids. He loved going for walks and spending time with his wife, Dorothy, and enjoyed hunting, fishing, Wii bowling, assembling puzzles and doing latchhook. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Alfred. Lyle is survived by his wife, Dorothy, two brothers, Oris (Carol) Bunes and Victor (Donna) Bunes; three sisters, Rollys (Jack) Quiel, Helen (Tom) Harrington, and Karen (Ellis) Andrews; and sister-in-law, Bev Bunes.
