LeRoy R. Nessler, 63, lifelong resident of Grand Rapids, Minnesota, passed away on Monday December 24, 2012. LeRoy was born in Grand Rapids on December 15, 1949 to William and Emma Nessler. He lived in the Orion Westwood and worked at ILO and the YMCA. LeRoy loved socializing with people, reading, bowling, and participating in the Special Olympics. He was a member of First Evangelical Lutheran Church in Grand Rapids. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Wayne, and a sister, Dolores Krook. Surviving family includes one brother, Lloyd of California; three sisters, CloReon Ehalt, Betty (Morris) Ehalt and Ruth Becklund, all of Grand Rapids; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
