Lawrence "Larry" Jeffers, age 80 of Cohasset, MN passed away peacefully Friday, June 19, 2026, at his home.

Larry was born on January 3, 1946, to Claude and Dorothy Jeffers in Aurora, IL. At the age of one, Larry and his family moved to Cohasset. After graduating high school, Larry joined the National Guard.

Larry will be remembered for many things, such as his dedicated years in mining as an electrical foreman and his 32 years of service with the Cohasset Fire Department.

Along with his passions of collecting antique radios and building crystal set radios, he enjoyed restoring vintage Indian Motorcycles. Larry was also an avid Johnny Cash fan. As a devoted family man, he cherished 36 years of marriage with Lynn and enjoyed spending time with his kids and grandkids.

Larry is preceded in death by his parents; loving wife, Lynn; stepson, Vince; and sister, Kay.

He is survived by his daughters, Terri (Tony) Smith of Grand Rapids, MN; Jody (Len Lund) Greniger of Esko, MN; Anna (Craig) Cint of Zimmerman, MN; and Faye (Derek) Prebeck of Bovey, MN; also, son John (Shari) Conley of Waterman, IL; several grandchildren; siblings, Kara Raveling (Klukas); Nancy Batterman; & Scott (Betty) Jeffers.

A visitation will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, June 29, 2026, at Libbey Funeral Home, Grand Rapids, MN followed by the 11 a.m. funeral service. Pastor Paul Haddix will officiate. Burial will be at Wildwood Cemetery, Cohasset, MN.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Larry's name to the Cohasset Fire Department would be greatly appreciated.
