Karen Lucille (Johnson) Wilhelm, 69, of Grand Rapids, MN, passed away Saturday, January 2, 2016 in her home. She was born August 13, 1946 in Duluth, MN to Tegner and Margaret (Carlson) Johnson. She graduated from Duluth East High School, Duluth, MN and attended St. Cloud State University. Karen worked for KOZY Radio for over 40 years. She enjoyed bowling and loved her family, grandchildren and her great-grandson. She was preceded in death by her parents; her loving companion, George Lucke in 2014; and her son, Todd Wilhelm. Karen is survived by her son, Terry Wilhelm of Cohasset, MN; brother, David (Linda) Johnson of Coleraine, MN; grandchildren, Ryan and Jeremy Wilhelm both of Grand Rapids, MN; great-grandson, Braxton Wilhelm; and many other relatives and friends.
