Judith E. Miller, 70, of Bemidji, formerly of Grand Rapids, passed away Sunday August 8, 2010 in Bemidji, Minnesota. Judie was born in Fairmont, Minnesota to Arthur and Wilhelmina Johnson. She graduated from Fairmont High School. She married her high school sweetheart James Miller in North Hollywood, California in 1960. She and Jim owned and operated Birch Cove Resort in Grand Rapids, Minnesota for many years. She enjoyed working in her flower garden, playing Bingo and spending time with her grandchildren and Boston terriers. Judie was preceded in death by her husband Jim in 2008, son, Danny in 2007, and granddaughter, Heidi, in 1997, and her parents. Survivors include one daughter, Mindy Graser (Bill Lange) of Bemidji, son, Rolland (Maria) Miller of Kansas City, grandchildren, Megan (Tim) Litchke of Deer River, Minnesota and Kelly (Adam) McDonald of Grand Rapids, Cody Graser, Tanner Siegel, Tristan Miller, Cecelia Miller, and Kira Miller; great-grandson, Danny; and two sisters, Shirley Striemer of Fairmont, and Lorrie (Ken) Dreke of Fairmont. Visitation is from 12:00 until the 1:00 PM Funeral Service on Friday, August 13, 2010 in the Assembly of God Church in Grand Rapids.
