Joseph E. Yocus, 89, of Grand Rapids, died on Sunday Nov. 14, 2010 in Grand Itasca Clinic and Hospital. Joseph was born in Joliet, Illinois and was a Navy veteran of WWII. He was married to his first wife, Loretta Wallace, and married Tillie Norberg on January 24, 1953. They owned and operated Snow White / King Koin Laundromat for many years. Joe retired from the U.S. Postal Service. He was preceded in death by his wife, Loretta in 1949, second wife Tillie in 1997, a son, Joseph, and a sister, Anne Klowkoski. Surviving family includes his children, Joel Yocus of Grand Rapids, Dennis (Donna) Yocus of Soudan, MN, Bonita Yocus of Chicago, Illinois, Joanne (Rick) Nelson of Andover, MN, and Tony (Tammy) Yocus of West Haven, Utah; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
