John Lyle Holm, of Savage, Minn., died October 31, 2009. John Lyle Holm, of Savage, Minn., died October 31, 2009. He was born in Grand Rapids, Minn. in 1946. John was employed at Itasca Memorial Hospital from 1965 to 1986. Most recently he worked as a P.C.A. and a home health aide in the Twin Cities area. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Sybil Holm. He is survived by one son, Scott (Colleen) of Grand Rapids; five daughters, Michelle (Bill) Larson of Grand Rapids, Theresa Holm of Duluth, Julia (Mike) Norris of Hibbing, Angela Holm of Deer River, and April (Ben) Quirk of Cohasset; eleven grandchildren; one sister, Sharon (Dave) Leinonen of Cokato, Minn.; and longtime friend, Todd Stevenson of Savage. Visitation is from 3:00 until the service at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday November 5 in the Libbey Funeral Home. Following the service there will be a reception in the Harris Town Hall.
