John Mark Albert, 37, of Grand Rapids, MN, passed away Tuesday, July 29, 2014. He was born October 25, 1976 in Minneapolis, MN to James and Darla (Deeble) Albert. He graduated from Greenway High School in 1995. He worked for Lakehead Construction as a Foreman. John was a proud parent and supporter to his children, Hannah and Jack and member of the Union Local #1097. He enjoyed fishing, camping, snowmobiling and grilling. He was preceded in death by his father, James Albert. John is survived by his son, Jack Albert; daughter, Hannah Albert, both of Grand Rapids, MN; mother, Darla Albert of Coleraine, MN; brother, Robert (Brook) Coles of Woodbury, MN; sisters, Beckey (Bob) Jensen of Hudson, WI, Trudy (Art) Schoonmaker of Deer River, MN, Kathleen (Troy) Burge of Newport Beach, CA; children's mother, Jennifer Powell of Grand Rapids, MN; and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Memorial Service: 1:00 p.m. Saturday, August 2, 2014 at the Church of the Nazarene. A gathering of friends from 12:00 noon until the 1:00 p.m. memorial service. Pastor Paul Haddix officiating.
