Jesse Monte Glaser, 49 of Grand Rapids, Minn. died after a courageous battle with cancer on June 3, 2012 in Deer River, Minn. Jesse was born in Deer River on April 6, 1963. Jesse lived most of his life in Itasca County. He loved spending time with his family and enjoyed camping, fishing and rock hunting. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Ricky Wass and Bill V. Wass; stepfather, Clinton Wass; and grandparents, Vic and Vi Parson. Surviving family includes two daughters, Larissa Scott (Brian True) of Grand Rapids and Shayna Glaser of Cohasset, Minn.; a son, Jesse Hauglund of Hibbing, Minn.; grandchildren, Gavin, Kailey, baby Parker, Emmitt, and Jay; mother, Myrna Wass of Grand Rapids; father John E. Glaser of Grand Rapids; sisters, Delilah (Richard) Wilkerson of Bloomington, Minn. and Shane (Vince) Cleveland of Grand Rapids; brother, John M. Glaser of Grand Rapids; stepsister, Tammi (Richard) Anderson of Grand Rapids; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation is from 12 to 1 p.m. with the Memorial Service at 1 p.m. on Thursday, June 7, 2012 in the Libbey Funeral Home in Grand Rapids.
