Jean Ann Johnson, 80, of Nashwauk, Mn., died May 4, 2015 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born April 16, 1935 in Ogilvie, Mn. to William and Kathryn Serich Block. Jean was a graduate of Ogilvie High School and she then moved to Beverly Hills Ca. where she worked for Prudential Ins. Co. Jean Ann was united in Marriage to Duane D. Johnson in Mora, Mn. on Feb. 13, 1959. Jean loved having her children and grandchildren around her and she enjoyed quilting, cooking, baking, reading and her flower garden. Jean is preceded in death by her parents, husband Duane, son Kenneth, brothers Robert and Jack Block. Jean is survived by her children Kathryn (Todd) Payne, Thomas (Stephanie) Johnson, David Johnson, William (Lori) Johnson, Paula (Donald) Holmes, Barbara Johnson, Darwin (Janene) Johnson; sisters Kathryn (Thomas) Beaudry, Mary (Paul) Johnson; brothers, Peter Block, William (Kimberly) Block; 18 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren along with many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be 10 AM Saturday May 9,2015 followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM all at St. Cecilia's Catholic church in Nashwauk, Mn. Burial will be in Harris Twp Cemetery, Grand Rapids, Mn.
