Jean (Angeline) Rose (Gagliardi) Berens, 97, of St. Paul, MN passed away Sunday, August 13, 2017 at Vintage Moments Memory Care in Vadnais Heights, MN. She was born August 7, 1920 in St. Paul, MN. Jean was a lifetime member of St. Casimir Church in St. Paul, MN and a member of the Altar & Rosary Society, and also where she worked for many years in the school cafeteria and in the rectory. She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis Francis Berens; sisters, Louise Damico, Rose Londino Corbo, Jenny Scott Charles, Mary Anne Meissner; and brother, Martin Galardy. Jean is survived by her son, Robert (Sandy) Berens; daughter, Kathleen (Robert) Manteuffel; grandchildren, Wendy Berens, Heather (Chip) Jansen, Andrea Berens, Andrew and Edward (Michelle) Manteuffel; great-grandchildren, Luke, Stephan and Cullen Berens, and Gretchen Manteuffel. She is also survived by her brother, Frank (Dorothy) Gagliardi; and many beloved nieces, nephews, family members, friends, caregivers and housemates at Vintage Moments Memory Care in Vadnais Heights, MN. Mass of Christian Burial: 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 16, 2017 at St. Casimir's Catholic Church, 934 E. Geranium Ave, St. Paul, MN 55106, with a visitation 1 hour prior to the Mass.
