Janice E. Crotteau, 76, of Grand Rapids, Mn died Tuesday August 12, 2014 in Essentia Health- St. Mary's Medical Center Duluth, Mn. She was born on August 24, l937 in Grand Rapids, Mn to Harry and Minnie (Kelting) Motschenbacher and was a lifelong resident. Janice married Clyde Crotteau on June 30, 1956 and they owned and operated the Libby Funeral Home for many years. She was a member of Mesaba Chapter 211 Hibbing O.E.S. and a member of the grand family. Janice was also an avid bowler and gardener. Janice was preceded in death by her parents, husband Clyde in 2006, brothers DeLyle, Daun, and a sister Artis Hannula. She is survived by sons James (Sherri) of Cohasset, Mn, John (Donna) of Orono, Mn, Bill (Kay) of Phoenix, Az, a daughter Denise (Wayne Rognholt) Rudeen of Eau Claire, Wi, 10 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren; and special friend, Loren Longmore of Grand Rapids, Mn. Visitation: 5 to 7 pm Sunday, August 17, 2014 with The Order of Eastern Star Services at 7 PM in the Andrews-Libbey Funeral Home and continuing 10 AM until the 11 AM Funeral Service Monday, August 18, 2014 in the Community Presbyterian Church.
