Janet M. Jondal, 79, of Grand Rapids, MN passed away Thursday, May 7, 2020 at Brookstone Manor, Grand Rapids, MN.

Janet was born in 1940 in Duluth, MN where she grew up and graduated from high school. Janet was united in marriage to Daryl Jondal, Sr. and they made their home in Illinois for a few years prior to moving to Grand Rapids, MN and eventually settling in the Cohasset area. Following Daryl"s passing, she was employed with Blandin Paper Company as a key punch operator. In the late 1970"s, Janet was united in marriage to Jim Dowell. She loved bowling, knitting, and going to the casino with her friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husbands, Daryl Jondal, Sr. and Jim Dowell; son, Duane Jondal; sisters, Karen Myers and Carol Wood; brothers, Dan, David, John, and Jim Vukelich.

Janet is survived by her two sons, Daryl Jondal, Jr. of Mounds View, MN and Doug Jondal of Boulder, CO.

The family would like to thank Janet"s close friends, Dorothy and Pooch, for always being there for her and the good times and memories that they had together.

A private family service will be held at a later date.
