James Aubrey Loucks, 61, of Wabana Twp, passed away Tuesday, December 4, 2018 in his home. He was born June 18, 1957 in Grand Rapids, MN to Cecil and Shirley (Aubrey) Loucks. He was educated in the Greenway School District and graduated from Hibbing Vocational Technical Institution in 1977 as a construction technician. James was married to Kathleen Cone from 1979-2015.
Jim worked in the construction trades as a 49"er and a laborer until his multiple sclerosis forced him into early retirement. He died due to complications of M.S.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Patrick Loucks.
James is survived by his children, Larry Loucks of Balsam Twp, Jessica Loucks of Columbus, OH; siblings, Kevin of WI, Colin of Balsam Twp, MN, Holly of Grand Rapids, MN; and his best buddy, Scott Spaulding.
