Holly Antoinette Davis, 32, passed away October 25, 2010 at her home in Balsam, Minnesota. Holly was born in Grand Rapids to Bill and Peg Davis on Sept. 11, 1978 and lived in Balsam all of her life. Holly enjoyed traveling, garage sales and gambling with Mom. She loved spending time with family and friends, especially with her sister Hannah. Holly had a strong faith "€" her memorable remark was, "I'm with Jesus now and I'm not coming back!" Holly attended school in Grand Rapids. She died from complications of Batten Disorder, a genetic, progressive, terminal illness. Holly was preceded in death by her brother Chad in 2006; grandparents, David and Lucille Powers and Floyd and Ruth Davis; uncle, Bobby Davis; aunt, Sue Powers Bullinger; and cousins, Grant Bullinger and Wade Masching. Survivors include her parents; sister, Hannah, at home; aunts and uncles, Kathe Powers of Minneapolis, Bill and Lonna Powers of Iowa, Dave and Nan Powers of Cohasset, Paul and Teresa Powers of Grand Rapids, Chris and Chad Yost of Grand Rapids, Gordy and Jackie Davis of Balsam, Lorraine and Erling Madsen of Trout Lake, and Peggy and Bill Trombley of Maple Grove; and many cousins. Graveside Service: 11 a.m. Saturday October 30, 2010 at Balsam Cemetery in Balsam Township. Fr. Paul Larson will officiate. A reception will follow at the Davis home.
