Harriett M. Ohlson, 88, of Grand Rapids, passed away Sunday July 25, 2010 in Grand Village. Harriett M. Ohlson, 88, of Grand Rapids, passed away Sunday July 25, 2010 in Grand Village. Harriett was born in Minneapolis to Walter and Laura Larson. She married Wallace Ohlson on March 2, 1941. They lived in Minneapolis for 44 years, traveled around for a number of years, lived in Florida and Texas, and then moved back to Minnesota. Harriett lived in Grand Rapids for the past two years. She loved dogs; they were her constant companion. She will be missed. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wallace R. Ohlson. She is survived by her daughters, Sharonne Lox of Grand Rapids and Nancy Brown of North Carolina; one brother, Robert Larson; six grandchildren, Paul, Tim, Michele, Scott, Ann, and Michael; and five great-grandchildren, Jennifer, Megan, Elizabeth, Jessica, and Danielle. Visitation is 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. with the Memorial Service at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 28 at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Cohasset. Libbey Funeral Home, Grand Rapids.
