Harriet B. Waller, 92, of Grand Rapids, Minnesota died Dec. 31, 2010. She was born and raised in Ogilvie, Minnesota, moved to Minneapolis in 1940, and married Frank Waller in 1942. She was a licensed hair stylist. She retired in 1988 and moved to Grand Rapids in 1993. In the 1940's and 1950's Harriet was an avid deer, grouse, and pheasant hunter and a lifelong fisherwoman. She was an active member of the United Methodist Church, the Garden Club, and loved to play Bridge. Harriet was gracious, engaging, and interested. She had a soft spot for animals, flowers, and children. She walked in love for family, friends, and strangers. She loved life and fought for it to the end. Harriet was preceded in death by her husband, Frank in 1996, two brothers, and two sisters. Surviving family includes one daughter, Debra Waller of Grand Rapids, a brother, Gene Berglund of Golden Valley, and many nieces and nephews.
