Harold Myron "Mike" Bonham, age 82 of Blackberry, MN, died February 6, 2011 at St. Mary's Medical Center in Duluth. Mike was born in Park Rapids, Minn. on Dec. 15, 1928 to Robert and Ruth Bonham. He married Verna in 1953 and served in the Army during the Korean War. They settled in the Grand Rapids, Minn. area in 1960 where Mike worked for Aldon Construction until 1990. Mike loved to be outdoors, fishing, and farming. He was preceded in death by his wife Verna in 1989, parents, two brothers, and a sister. Surviving family includes seven sons Mitchell (Melissa), Mark (Laurie), Macklyn (Sandy), Marlow (Diane), Mervin (Pam), Myron, and Michael (Ginger), all of Grand Rapids; and one daughter, Margo Bonham of Rockford, MN: 16 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; two sisters Janice (Bob) Rhodes of Bend, OR and Joy (Phil) Hirl of Portland OR; and one brother, James Bonham of Needles, CA. Visitation: 4 to 7 Thursday with a prayer service at 6:30 in Libbey Funeral Home. Visitation is also from 10 until the 11 a.m. Service on Friday February 11 in Libbey Funeral Home, Grand Rapids, MN with Rev. David Petrich officiating. Burial with full military honors is in Hazelwood Cemetery in Blackberry.
