Gerald "Jerry" P. Snell, age 86, passed away peacefully at Grand Itasca Clinic & Hospital on Sunday, April 16, 2017. He was born December 25, 1930 in Milwaukee, WI to Vernon "Pete" and Emily Snell. Jerry worked as a finishing carpenter and was very skilled at his profession. He honed his craft all over the United States and worked as a supervisor for Lakehead Construction. He loved to fish, hunt and enjoyed working in his large garden. Jerry was married on July 15, 1950 to Lois Spaulding in a double wedding ceremony with her twin sister Dallas and her spouse Mason Jellison. He was preceded in death by his parents; his son, Kevin; brother, Jack; sisters, Shirley (John) Sonju and Janet Snell; and a grandson, Devon Snell. Jerry is survived by his wife, Lois Snell; children, Steve (Loa) Snell, Sherry (Jeremy Frensko) Snell and Sandie (Jeff) Kieffer; grandchildren, Eric Snell and Chris (Deb) Kimble; two great-grandchildren, Shade and Raine; sister, Carol (David) Bullock; and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
