Garnet F. Leith, 85, of Grand Rapids, formerly of Hill City, died August 31, 2010 at Grand Village. Garnet was born in Seattle, Washington to Arthur and Theora Haugen. She married Willard W. Leith. Garnet loved to crochet, garden and listen to old music. She was preceded in death by her husband, daughter Fern and is survived by seven daughters, Wilma Alvarez, Garnet (Tom) Collett, Marietta Cook, Andrea (David) Kitzrow, Kitty (Terry) Handt, Bonnie (Donald) Schroeder, and Maureen (Ray) Kucera; one son, Bill (Donna) Leith, and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
