Frances Lovina (Myers) Sutherland, 91, of Grand Rapids, MN, passed away Tuesday, September 17, 2019 at Grand Itasca Clinic & Hospital. She was born February 9, 1928 in Waterloo, IA to Robert and Lola (Wood) Myers. She graduated from Grand Rapids High School. Frances married Roy Sutherland on September 25, 1948. She enjoyed gardening, flowers, watching the birds, crocheting, sewing, baking and she loved the Lord.
She was preceded in death by her husband Roy Sutherland; brothers, Robert Myers, Stanley Myers; and a sister, Gladys Dinsmore.
Frances is survived by her children, Janice (Mike) Stejskal of Cohasset, MN, Judy (Juan Durand) Sutherland of Prescott, AZ, Connie (Wayne) Bird of Apache Junction, AZ, Conard (Myra) Sutherland of Yellville, AR, Susan (Dana) Flinck of Grand Rapids, MN, Robert (Carole Bailey) Sutherland of Flippin, AR, Nels (Ruth) Sutherland of Mount Pleasant, IA; brother, Dennis Myers of Borger, TX; 19 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
