Frances Pauline (Carpenter) Johnson, 91, of Grand Rapids, MN, passed away Tuesday, July 7, 2015 in Grand Itasca Hospital, Grand Rapids, MN. She was born on May 28, 1924 in Turtle Lake, WI to Fred and Rose Carpenter. After graduating high school, Frances lived in Minneapolis and worked as a drafter until she met and married her beloved husband, Envor Johnson. She was a homemaker and ran a ceramic shop in her basement in New Richmond, WI. She was preceded in death by her husband, Envor and her son, Brian. Frances is survived by her daughter, Eris (Bob) Hyrkas; grandchildren, Jodi Johnson, Blake Hausladen, Jason Johnson, Julie (Zak) Lakovic; great-grandchildren, Matthew Johnson, Alyssa Johnson, JJ Johnson, Brandon Johnson, Theodor Lakovic and Mia Hausladen.
