Obituary

Fayetta Ann Maki, 66, of Pengilly, MN passed away Tuesday, May 8, 2018 at Fairview Range Medical Center, Hibbing, MN. She was born October 6, 1951 in Grand Rapids, MN to William and Jean (Haigh) Maki. She graduated from Nashwauk High School and Hamlin University with an art history degree. She then graduated from the United Theological Seminary in New Brighton, MN. Fayetta was a pastor for many years. She was involved with the Girl Scouts, having been a camp director and counselor. She was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, Dudley Maki. Fayetta is survived by her son, Devlin Clark of Grand Rapids, MN; brother, William (Roxann) Maki of Esko, MN; sisters, Cindy (Kevin) Lorence of Goodland, MN, Valerie Maki of Meadowlands, MN, Pamela (Phillip) Cochran of Bovey, MN; sister-in-law, Michelle Maki of Duluth, MN; one granddaughter, Josephine Jones; and numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
