Evelyn A. Hanson, age 87 of Cohasset, MN passed away Saturday, January 14, 2023, at The Emeralds of Grand Rapids, Grand Rapids, MN.

Evelyn was born in Cohasset, MN in 1935 to Clarence and Orva Jellison . She grew up in the Cohasset area. She worked in the food service industry for the Military. Evelyn was a member of the First Church of God in Grand Rapids. She volunteered for Itasca Nursing Home, Itaskin House, Northhomes, and Showboat. Evelyn was the first and founding member, even naming the organization, of Itasca Volunteers for the Handicapped.

She is preceded in death by her parents. Evelyn is survived by her daughter; Rosemary, friends; Penny O"Brien, Brian Carlson, Barb Jones, and Lori Jellison.
Visitation will be at Libbey Funeral Home, Grand Rapids, Thursday, January 19, 2023, beginning at 11:00 AM and lasting until the 12:00 PM funeral service. Burial will be at Lakeview Cemetery in Coleriane, MN. Chaplin JoJo Coffin will officiate.
