Ethel B. Brady, 102 of Grand Rapids, Minnesota died on Thursday November 15, 2012 at Grand Village Lodge in Grand Rapids. Ethel was born in 1910 at Virginia, Minnesota to William and Charlotte Bruneau. She graduated from Virginia High School and attended Virginia Junior College. She married Carl H. Brady in 1937. They lived in Cincinnati, Milwaukee, and Minneapolis before retiring to Grand Rapids in 1976. Carl passed away in 2007. Ethel was a member of the United Methodist Church. She loved to cook, knit, read, and spend time with family and friends. She was a member of Grand Rapids Women's Club for over 30 years. Ethel was dearly loved by family and friends and is survived by her three sons, Jim, Thomas (Mary Ann), and Carl R. (Nancy); daughter-in-law, Irene; grandchildren, James Brady, Jean (John) Crayton, Robert Brady, and Steven (Stephanie) Brady; and great-grandchildren, Kyle, Reid, Hailey, Emma, Madelynn, and Henry. Visitation is from 10:30 until the 11:00 a.m. memorial service on Saturday November 24, 2012 in the Grand Rapids United Methodist Church. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Grand Rapids United Methodist Church, 1701 SE 5th Avenue, Grand Rapids, MN 55744 or the American Heart Association.
