Edward J. Bobrowski, Jr. (Ozaawaabineshi inini), 54, of Deer River died Friday March 9, 2012 at home. Visitation: 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday, March 11 in the Libbey Funeral Home. Funeral Service: 11 a.m. Monday, March 12 in the Libbey Funeral Home with Fr. Jerry Weiss officiating. Edward was born and raised in Chicago Ill. He then moved to the Deer River and Grand Rapids. He worked as a welder, computer programmer and recently as Lead Supervisor for guest service at White Oak Casino. He enjoyed woodworking, camping, fishing, water skiing, scuba diving and loved spending time with his family and friends. Edward was preceded in death by his parents Edward Bobrowski, Sr. (1985), Ruth Bobrowski (2006) and two brothers: Michael Bobrowski (1972) and David Bobrowski, Sr. (1998). Surviving family includes longtime partner and companion, Eloise Jackson, Deer River; children, Darla Jackson (Tom Johnson), Grand Rapids, Michael Bobrowski (Teresa), Coleraine, Jessica Bobrowski (Mark Fairbanks), Deer River, Christopher Bobrowski (Kaija Hron), Bovey, and Erica Bobrowski (Darrin Anderson), Grand Rapids; sister, Linda Stone (Ken Stone), Des Plaines Ill; 17 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and numerous nieces and nephews.
